A little context...
This is from a series of posts promoting my debut comedy show in London while maintaining my focus on self-improvement and wellness, using a series of Instagram reel posts.
I'm a perfectionist.
(Probably one of the worst answers in an interview by the way 😂), but it's true! For someone who rarely achieves perfection, I absolutely love it!!!!
And you can practice every single detail or every word you want to say but when you're in the moment, the real you comes through!
(The crowd truly were B-E-A-Utiful by the way!😍)
But IMO when switching 'Practice Makes Perfect' to 'Practice Makes Progress'—here's what changes:
1️⃣ We embrace imperfection: No more pressure to be flawless! Progress means celebrating each step, even if it's a stumble or two.
2️⃣ We enjoy the journey: It's not just about the destination anymore. With progress, every practice session leads to unexpected discoveries.
3️⃣ We break free from perfectionism: Progress lets you focus on improvement, innovation, and the joy of mastering your craft, one step at a time. 💪✨
